Tour de Another Day

As I understand they were racing through

the mountians today in the Tour de France.

Up and Down, Up and Down

What can you say?

However tonight was a different thing

because it was the night of the ever competitive

Tour de Tricycle Race

You wouldn't believe what a big deal it is.

All of the big racers were giving it their all.

Then in something of a surprise, it was won by

One of the young lesser known racers.

Woah Nellie!

If I was racing in the good old Tour de France

I would appreciate all the cheers I could get.

As a famous celebrity

I understand what a charge you get when folks
recognize and acknowledge you when you go by.

I even do autograph appearances, business openings,
America's Got Talent judge gigs and selected
personal appearances on occasion.

($150,000 for 6 hours plus travel and 25% of the gate.
See my booking agent to see if we can work you in.)

However,

I'm not all that sure I'd want this guy cheering for me.

Strikes me as the kind of guy you'd
want to not know your name.

Who would have known he liked bike racing?

Seen the Latest Tour Craze?

There seems to be a new craze
among the Tour de France riders.

Da says that they used to
do it all the time when he was a kid.

He said they would dare each other to do it.

After watching a few of the races
I discovered that lots of
the guys were
doing it.

All things considered
I was not all that impressed.

It's my favorite way of riding.

What way Mr. ZeroBear?

It's called,

"Look Mumzie - no hands."

Tour de France News

That guy in the background (I think his name is George)
overcame great obstacles yesterday

to win the famed

Polka Dot jersey award for the most polka dotted shirt.

In a touching ceremony

he touches his cheek to the cheek of this swell looking
lady who seems a little peeved that she decided
to wear her polka dot dress to the race yesterday and
suddenly discovered that his outfit is the same as hers,
causing the embarrassing fashion moment captured
here by the French paparazzi.

Yellow Jersey

Have you guys been following the

Tour de France bike race?

I think they did stage 7 today.

I wish I had known about the race earlier because
I would have gone over to France and entered.

I have a bike and figure I could beat all those guys
who seem intent on peddling up and down the mountains

when they aren't busy running into each other.

Ouch! Thats gonna leave a bobo.

The Yellow Jersey.

Did you know that the winner of each day's race,
which they call a stage, gets his very own

Yellow Jersey to wear until someone else beats
him, most likely the very next day.

I think its yellow so you can
pick it out of the crowd.

I'm not so sure that winning
the yellow jersey
is such a big deal.

I found this one on e-bay for $3.79.

Sadly, it's a medium and I wear a Trip-X-Small.

If I could have entered my 34 BMW, they
would have had to special order my yellow shirt
cause nobody peddling a bike would have come
close to keeping up with me on my motorbike.
