Look, I'm Sorry

but George is in a bind.

He was just a little bad

and got thrown out.

Anyhow

he wonders

If anyone would

Take him home?

Just for a night until
he can square things up?

Kind'a Strange

That in order to give their animals
time off for vacation

many animal parks these days are resorting
to the use of

animatronic lookalikes.

Evidently the quality of

animatronic varies wildly

from park to park.

I'd recommend asking if their giraffes
are out on holiday

before buying your admission ticket.

Be Careful Out There

Yes, News Junkies
ZeroBear PolyBear International News
Services, LLC has uncovered another disturbing
crime statistic that you need to be aware of so that
you can protect your property from the criminal element.

Cattle rustling is on the rise!

Rustlers have common characteristics that
make them stand out from the general population.

They are not all that difficult to recognize

Cows aren't either.

Any time you see a cow and a rustler in the same
area you should get very suspicious.

Also, it never hurts to be
proactive in protecting
your cow...

Tieing him up is fine, but you might
want to consider a chain and padlock
an ounce of prevention and all that stuff.

A little forethought can
save you from a world
of grief later.

Backyard Critters - Sly as a Fox?

That's what they say.

Don't ask me why, because I don't know.

One of these guys lives in the neighborhood
and as far as I know he could be sly. I do
know you hardly ever see him.

Da says he is a hunter and you need to

watch your chickens when there is a fox around.

Let's see...

This?

or

This?

The fox may be sly, but he isn't very smart.

Waffles, the breakfast choice of smart PolyBears.

I gott'a go, I hear Mumzie making noise in the kitchen
and I don't want any sly old fox getting ahead of me in line.

Backyard Critters (AKA Woodland Creatures)

Do you have a lot of critters in your backyard?

Arbitration Editor's note
(as required by a sealed
settlement between
Adams, Bentwood and Billings
 and ZeroBear PolyBear
World Wide News
Services, LLP):

A "Critter" ar referenced by
Mr. ZeroBear PolyBear, esq.
is a woodland creature,
that would normally be considered
non-domesticated, or wild.
The derivation of the term "critter"
most notably goes back to the 1960's
Television situation comedy
"The Bevery Hillbillies" and the character
Ellie Mae Clampett. We are
uncertain exactly why Mr. ZeroBear
PolyBear chose to use this specific
term. Our opinion is that it was not
intended to be deregoratory toward any
specific class of people or natioanlity.)

Huh? Oh well,
Back to my post - We do - have lots of critters in
the back yard.

Some are nice

And some not nearly so nice

Lets take a look at Raccoons this morning.

Meet Rocky Raccoon.
Cute?
Yeh, I guess.

Seems like they have the market cornered on
living in a hole in a log.

But how about when they move into your neighborhood?

Example #1

"Pssssstt. Hea Dude. Yeh You...
Ya Got any Fig Newton Bars?"

"You don't?"

"Well then give me that McDonald's sack,
unless you want to be my breakfast!"

Example #2

"Oh hi. We didn't know you were still up. Yeh, it is
kind'a late. We're here to help sort out your trash.
He, He, He..."

Example #3

"Move on. Nuttin going on here.
Nuttin to see."

"I said move on!"

"Now!"

Raccoons - our furry little woodland friends.
Now in a neighborhood close to you...

Pets

Lots of people want to have a pet

and they can be a lot of fun to have around

But they require a lot of upkeep

You must feed them

They have to be bathed
else they get to smelling like a dog.

After you bath them you gott'a dry them off

You must keep them groomed

You occassionally need to take them
to the vet, like when they maybe accidently
get too close to a fireworks explosion.

And if they are to stay fit

They need to be exercised daily

Its a lot of trouble to keep a pet.

Which in only one of the many reasons inviting
a PolyBear into your home is a better option.

Your home, not my home because the position
is filled in my home and I don't need or want any help.
