Hot and Dry

Da says its hot and dry here.

Well, maybe not this hot and dry,
but he says we need rain.

I know it is hot for a PolyBear Outside.

Here is weather a Poly Bear likes.

Is it Debbie?

I think that is right

I'm sorry Florida

Stay Safe I Hope...

Oh No!

As of today

Doesn't even have a name yet

and it's headed toward my house!

when they are certain it will run right over
my chest of drawers they will name it
Hurricane-Eat-ZeroBear's-House.

Edited to add:

I large-a-sized the "we're all gonna die"
warning graph and examined the proposed track
more carefully. It looks like the eye will go right over
our next door neighbor's house.

Maybe Mumzie and Da will sneak by this one.
75 feet is enough clearance isn't it?

Bros and their Bikes

Some people go over the edge with their bikes.

This one is boss, isn't it!

I can see me tooling around the neighborhood
on this baby.

The chicks would go wild.

This one is really upscale. The perfect thing
for the Victorian bike ride.

***

Of course, there are the other bikes.

This is the perfect winter bike.

The perfect shoe salesman's bike.

Here is the ideal shop till you drop bike.

And here is the go to bike for the guy who wants to
spend some time with the folks in the emergency room
at his local hospital.

Bikes - there is one for everyone.

It's the Weekend!

I'd suggest a bike ride for

The scenery,

exercise and

Comradeship.

Remember to

always ride with a plan

for enrichment of body and soul

And don't get in a rut with your bike riding moments.

Is this?

Friday the 13th?

No?

But it is Friday, right?

Good, because Friday is

Fish Sticks Day!

If it's not the 13th

More About ZeroBear - Driving Peeves

Most of the time I love driving

And I'm pretty good at it.

But I hate driving in

heavy traffic

when

everyone

ahead

of you

is going

really slow.

Calvin and Hobbes

The early years

Sweet

The later years

Hobbes - my how you have grown!

Down boy

Hobbes?

Hobbes!

!!! HOBBES !!!

Calvin and Hobbes the final chapter.

and

Hobbes

Wow

There is absolutely nothing on the interwebs tonight.

I think it's broken.

After looking for three hours,

all I can find is some kind

of card tournament.

Huh?

Oh ...

Sorry, FluffyKitty tells me Da left his solitaire game
running on his machine when he went to bed.

My bad.

Do not worry. The interwebs is fine.

Your favorite sites are still up and running.

Trucks

This one is not bad

But its not the one I want.

I want the one in front of it.

I want.

The yellow one.

The good, the bad and the ugly

Yep, that's correct, we're here to discuss

Ribs?

No, bumbledumb

Pot Holes

Don't you just hate it when you hit one of those roads
that seem to be nothing but pot holes?

They come in all sizes and types.

Sometimes you just wonder

and sometimes you know.

So, did he really invent it?

Some people know who I am mentioning
when I write about Dean Kamen.

He is the guy who they say invented the

Segway scooter

They look nice and some folks

Say they are the very best way to get around.

But did Mr. Kamen really invent this means
of transportation?

I'm not so sure.

Did you know

that today

is the

last day

of spring.

and tomorrow

Starts Summer.

Signs can be useful

They provide

needed information,

Help warn us when needed,

Keep us straight,

Make certain we know the rules,

Keep things from being so confusing,

And sometimes, just

Make certain we know the law.

I should know the answer to this

How many legs should a bird have?

There is something wrong here...

Isn't there?

I thought so, too.

Probably a radiation mutant,
or a spider bit
morphed superhero called
BirdLegs, I'm thinking.

The ZeroBear PolyBear comic book
Issue #1 introducing BirdLegs is due out
by Comicon in October.

In Issue One,
BirdLegs will slug it out
with WormMan, who has
designs on taking over
Jeep, Arkansas

BirdLegs' superpower will be
doing the Arkansas Mud Stomp
really fast.

Like my good friend

Chicken George

except faster,
like superhero fast.

Hurricane research

There are entire groups of scientists who do
nothing except

study Hurricanes

They know more than most of us

about these terrible storms and how they work
and where they will strike next.

Last week, they issued the exact tracking possibilities
for the next storm to strike in the 2012 hurricane season.

here it is

This morning, they announced that they ran the numbers
again and there may be a few possibilities they left out.

Seems they forgot about Texas, Louisiana Mississippi
and Alabama. Central America, too.

Maybe the problem was they ran out of colors
before they ran out of possibilities.

Antigravity

Yesterday, I was channel surfing

And I stopped for a moment on the Pig Network Channel
to watch some of the national Pig Antigravity Races.

some of the racers were pretty good and that started
me looking at this entire antigravity stuff.

this guy is pretty good at it, but I quickly realized that

Cats are masters in the field of antigravity.

As I understand, they have to put a string on this guy
sometimes to keep him from floating away.

So, How do they do it?

I spent a lot of time researching and finally
discovered at least part of the answer.

It is best summarized by the following:

The discovery of what cats have evidently known
all along has led to several significant patents
in the field of antigravity.

Like this one by H.W. Wallace

or

this one. I forget who filed it, but it plainly relies
on big beer kegs of Ms for its power source.

Antigravity is actually pretty simple when you can see
the charts and graphs.
