This morning I read that yesterday

Americans ate 150,000,000 hot dogs!

You didn't have one?

What a shame

these two guys who were contestents in the national

Hot Dog eating contest held by Nathan's every year

on the 4th of July probably ate your portion

of the Millions that were consumed.

I did ok.

I had one and a

refreshing beverage.

Can't Decide What To Do Tomorrow?

You know it willl be the 4th of July?

So what will you do?

Rearrange your stuff at home?

Take a spin and look at local sights?

Have a little backyard fun?

Just kick back in the man cave?

Spend the day chowing down

on your favorite food?

Get together with a few of your friends?

Whatever you do,

and have a happy 4th of July.

You could always have waffles for breakfast

to celebrate the holiday.

I can't get them out of my mind

They make my favorite sound,

and they have my favorite look

Da says fireworks

have come a long way

since he was a boy.

They certainly market them bigger now

and the stock certainly seems bigger.

So much so that I have

a hard time making up my mind

when we go shopping.

However,

we will go out and see the work

of experts Wednesday night

and I expect to be wowed.



Going to the Beach on the 4th?

Be careful out there!

You could get washed away

right into the mouth of a sea monster

or

become a tasty shark snack

as in

the shark eating you.

just keep in mind that the sea is full of

Sea Monsters

He's not?

OK, whatever.

Better?

Remember, there are things out there that see you

as a menu option.

So, What Should You Eat On The 4th?

Da says we will BBQ something

on the 4th.

Well, there are lots of options.

Shrimp on the Barbie

(good, but not what I want)

Ribs

(ok, but I'm thinking No)

Rutabaga

(Don't be silly)

Burgers

(A big favorite, but nope)
