More Lizard Critter Stuff

Have you ever thought that you couldn't get enough
of something? Yep, I have too. It is probably why I have
become the world's biggest authority on lots of subjects:

Oh yeh, and

Lizards. I know lots about lizards. I'm probably a Lizardologist
or something like that. Anyhow, I know lots about them
Like this guy. His name is George and he is a
blue and yellow lizard.

This is the evil Dr. Panther. He is a blue and yellow lizard
too. If you remember my post about him,
he was trying to take over the world.

Until he was stopped by Spidey.
It's all in that other post.

Some Lizards are creepy

This is Igor. When he gets mad, everyone in the room
knows. You should hear his roar. He actually is a nice guy,
just a little high strung.

Lizards come in all sizes. This guy's name is Fred.

He lives on some island where it's OK to be really small.

Lastly - I have a good example of a big lizard for you.

This guy's name is Godzilla. He tried to eat Japan.

I think he had too much sushi for dinner
and got indigestion.

Lizards - Interesting Critters.
Invite one over for sushi tonight.

Lizard Critters

Now that spring is here, the lizards are back

They just showed up the other day.

I guess they were over-wintering at their condo down
in Florida because they weren't here and then they were.

Da says that most of them aren't a problem

Unless they get in the house and dry out. Then
Da and I have to pick them up and throw them out
with the trash.

For the most part they aren't all that scary
and I can handle them without any problems.

Of course there is always that exception that you'd
rather not walk up on when he's lounging in a patch of sun
out in the back yard outside of the pole barn.

Backyard Critters - Sly as a Fox?

That's what they say.

Don't ask me why, because I don't know.

One of these guys lives in the neighborhood
and as far as I know he could be sly. I do
know you hardly ever see him.

Da says he is a hunter and you need to

watch your chickens when there is a fox around.

Let's see...

This?

or

This?

The fox may be sly, but he isn't very smart.

Waffles, the breakfast choice of smart PolyBears.

I gott'a go, I hear Mumzie making noise in the kitchen
and I don't want any sly old fox getting ahead of me in line.

Backyard Critters (AKA Woodland Creatures)

Do you have a lot of critters in your backyard?

Arbitration Editor's note
(as required by a sealed
settlement between
Adams, Bentwood and Billings
 and ZeroBear PolyBear
World Wide News
Services, LLP):

A "Critter" ar referenced by
Mr. ZeroBear PolyBear, esq.
is a woodland creature,
that would normally be considered
non-domesticated, or wild.
The derivation of the term "critter"
most notably goes back to the 1960's
Television situation comedy
"The Bevery Hillbillies" and the character
Ellie Mae Clampett. We are
uncertain exactly why Mr. ZeroBear
PolyBear chose to use this specific
term. Our opinion is that it was not
intended to be deregoratory toward any
specific class of people or natioanlity.)

Huh? Oh well,
Back to my post - We do - have lots of critters in
the back yard.

Some are nice

And some not nearly so nice

Lets take a look at Raccoons this morning.

Meet Rocky Raccoon.
Cute?
Yeh, I guess.

Seems like they have the market cornered on
living in a hole in a log.

But how about when they move into your neighborhood?

Example #1

"Pssssstt. Hea Dude. Yeh You...
Ya Got any Fig Newton Bars?"

"You don't?"

"Well then give me that McDonald's sack,
unless you want to be my breakfast!"

Example #2

"Oh hi. We didn't know you were still up. Yeh, it is
kind'a late. We're here to help sort out your trash.
He, He, He..."

Example #3

"Move on. Nuttin going on here.
Nuttin to see."

"I said move on!"

"Now!"

Raccoons - our furry little woodland friends.
Now in a neighborhood close to you...
