Ever Get All Excited & Then Suffer a Massive Let-Down?

Well, it happened to me this afternoon

Mumzie was standing at the window looking

out into the back yard, and I was daydreaming

about health food.

Suddenly she got excited and said,

"Look at the blackbirds!"

I ran over to the window and boy was I disappointed.

This is what got her all excited.

I thought she meant

these Blackbirds.

Later on, I was complaining to Da and he said

they don't fly them anymore.

Anyone know where you can pick one up war surplus?

I called the local

Army/Nave Store and they don't have any in stock.

Anyone have any contacts

at Davis Mountain Air Force Base

in Tucson, AZ?

I bet with a little help, we could sneak in one night

and fly a Blackbird out.

If we could get over the fence and get it cranked

I'm certain I could fly it out. Once I got it rolling

down the runway, I can't imagine anyone stopping me.

It would look swell parked out in the back yard.

If we could keep the dang black birds off of it.



I should know the answer to this

It's quite disturbing...

You see, George is angry

because he has been scammed

in a blatant case of identity theft.

He says they copied him and he got no credit

I'll let you decide if George has a legitimate gripe.

A Nice Spring Day Here

And it's about time.

The sun is out.

The bulb flowers are in bloom

Mumzie says they are daffodils. I just

call them "those pretty yellow flowers".

The dogwoods have come out -

that happened over a three day period.

The azalias are doing their stuff all over the place

and the bees have returned from Florida or wherever

they go in the winter. (Buzza Buzza Buzza).

Oh yeh

And the Chickadees have started quoting Shakesphere

from the trees around the bird feeder.

"Is this a Kibble I see before me,

The tasty part toward my beak?

Come, let me clutch thee...

to nom, perhaps to enjoy, thou

vision to my mind..."

Yep, spring is here. 

You know, some people have this thing

about flaunting authority. They proudly have

no respect for anyone's rules

It's like their whole thing is

"Catch me if you can Copper"

Seems to set them off



Heaven help you if you tell them they can't.

Threaten them if you like...It does no good.

Sometimes you gotta wonder

says that we need to cooperate so today we will

devote much too much bandwidth to

rubber ducks.

Yep those guys who made the threatening call were officials

from the American Rubber Duck Association

So today's blog will be devoted to the

American Rubber Duck

I did some research and found out that

For the most part, Rubber Ducks are pretty good people

They are inclusive

They have a sense of humor

And there are a bunch of them

I figure if all of them came by tomorrow to check out

my rubber duck post I'd get about a boillion hits.

Sadly, none of them has computer access.

even though just as has been reported in the past

most of them

has their ducks in a row. 

Did you know there was a head honcho rubber duck?
